Cluster Board Includes Teachers, Parents and Principals From 5 Schools

The five public schools in La Jolla have selected parent and teacher representatives for the La Jolla Cluster Association.

The teacher representatives are: Peggy Ray and Carol Shear, Bird Rock Elementary; Erin Lewis/Valerie Krapfel and Stephanie Cole, La Jolla Elementary; Wendy Gillespie and Jamie White, Torrey Pines Elementary; Julie Latta and Rob Tindall, Muirlands Middle; and Malcolm Jarvis and Pat Thomas, La Jolla High.

The parent representatives are Lisa Bonebrake and Michele Dartland, Bird Rock Elementary; Melinda Gaffney and Fran Shimp, La Jolla Elementary; John May, Torrey Pines Elementary; Patty Garay and Barbara Hagey, Muirlands Middle; Alison Lee, La Jolla High. 

The principals of the region’s five public schools also serve on the association’s governing board.
